Music & Creative Arts at MO(2) Church:Mission Viejo
Hey…you clicked on “Music & Arts”…sweet! At MO(2) Church (ie: mount.of.olives) we believe that we serve the living, inspirational, creative God ( “In the beginning, God created…” - Genesis 1:1). The Creative Arts speak to our senses through stories, sounds, sights, etc. The arts are an expressive way of communicating deep truths to our hearts and minds, many times in ways that mere words never could.
Because of this, we want to be a place that honors and celebrates artistic expression. Our weekly worship gatherings are a collaboration of music, visual arts, liturgy, creative movement, dramatic arts, and technical arts. Since there is no one “correct” way to worship God, MO(2) Church incorporates different styles of worship…it’s awesome!

CORNERSTONE – Celebrating traditional worship at 8:30AM
ELEVATE AM – Contemporary worship gathering at 9:45 & 11:00AM

The MO(2) artistic community is a place where people can connect with each other by entering into a common purpose bigger than ourselves, engage by being passionate and committed to utilizing the arts in expressing the love of Jesus to others, and then experience God through using our gifts and giving of ourselves in His name.

WORSHIP BAND & VOCALISTS
Jefferson Denim and the contemporary worship team at MO(2) Church believe that it is no small thing to enter into the presence of God to worship Him…in fact it’s incredible! We are honored and humbled to lead the Lord’s people in worship. We are in constant prayer that God would be in the middle of everything we do, and for congregation and musicians alike to come prepared to offer up our “sacrifices of praise” (Hebrews 13:15) with a heart of service and gratitude.

CHANCEL CHOIR
Rehearsals: Thursdays at 7:30 PM
Where: Choir Rehearsal Room
The Chancel Choir is the worship choir for CORNERSTONE, our wonderful traditional worship service. The Chancel Choir sings mostly classical music, worship choruses and spirituals. They also sing special choral works during the Christmas and Easter seasons. If you’re interested in this group of dedicated singers, come and join us. It’s fun!
