Operation Christmas Child: Shoeboxes

Bless a Child in a Hard-to-Reach Area – Pack a Shoebox Gift.

Mount of Olives is helping pack 100 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child through Samaritan’s Purse.

We want every child to know God’s love. Shoebox donations are an expression of God’s love to a child and may be the only gift they receive. So, plan to pack quality items that will last. Be sure to make them fun, adding a “wow” item and new toys a child will love; full, with no empty space; and personalized so that each is unique and prayed over and includes a note of encouragement. Finally, don’t forget to include your $10 donation per shoebox to cover the cost of shipping and project costs.

Shoeboxes Shoeboxes can be picked up, and filled shoeboxes returned, to the donation table on the church courtyard Sunday mornings from October 11 – November 15, 2026, from 9:30am-12:30pm.
