Children 5th grade and younger can attend Kid City children's services during Sunday church services at 9:45 & 11:00am. Plus, check out the parent resources, kids activities and online kids worship services offered by our children's ministry on our Kid City website!
First Communion Classes
This is a short course for young people who have never been instructed in Holy Communion. Students must be at least in 5th grade to participate.
We will discuss:
1. What is Holy Communion?
2. The Plan of Salvation
3. How to grow as believers
This Class will also give 5th grade students the opportunity get connected to Rock Church Middle School (6th-8th). 5th grade students will be encouraged to start attending Rock Sunday Services starting May 13 and can attend our middle school summer camp and activities.

Rooted in Faith Class
(formerly called Confirmation)
Rooted in Faith starts October 26, 2025.
Parent & Student Meeting - Sunday, October 26, 7:30pm in The Rock
This is a discipleship class that focuses on studying Luther’s Small Catechism and confirming one’s baptism. It is also for those who have taken Confirmation in the past but want to study Christian Apologetics and theology further.
Registered students are to attend weekly Bible Study at The Rock Sundays from 6:00-7:30pm, and will have monthly sessions from 7:30-8:30pm immediately following Rock Bible Study on Sundays.
This is a great class for students looking to dive deeper into understanding the Christian faith and to get better connected in Christian Community.
