Volunteer to Serve
There are many ways to volunteer to serve at and through Mount of Olives Church. Your time, talents and gifts are impactful in the lives of children, teens and adults at our church and in our community. Our Mission is "To Know Christ and Make Him Known," below is a list of some serving opportunities.
We invite you to give a small amount of time to make a big impact in the lives of others for Jesus.
If you don't know how you'd like to serve, not to worry! We'll match you up with a ministry where you are most gifted and most needed.
Volunteers Needed!
This time of year, we have some specific Volunteer Needs in addition to our regular volunteer opportunities:
- Sunday Welcome Team - Volunteer!
- Experienced Grant Writers Needed to support our Adult Day Program and other ministries.
- Volunteer to donate food to those in crisis in our community on the 1st Sunday monthly or 4th Thursday monthly
- Can you sew? Volunteer to help sew costumes for Drive-Thru Nativity now!
- And Many More!

Volunteer with Drive-Thru Nativity
Mount of Olives Church will offer our annual free Drive-Thru Nativity this December 12 & 13, 2025, from 5:30-9:30pm in Mission Viejo, CA.
Around 300 volunteers are needed to prepare for the two-night event: our Christmas gift to the community!
We need volunteer help before, during and after the event in December!
- Are you able to help with sewing (repairing and creating additional costumes)?
- Do you own a pick-up truck and can help us pick up props and hay in the weeks before the event or help us move props across the street during setup?
- Don’t want to act in a scene, but willing to hold signs on the street corner the night of the event?
