'Alternative' Christmas Fair

Join us for an Online Christmas Fair – that is a little different. 

This Christmas season, review and 'shop' for opportunities to donate and give to those in need in our community and around the world!


Consider giving a Christmas Gift to friends or family this year: a donation in their name to a ministry they support, or a livestock purchase in a 3rd world country for people in need. The 'Alternative' Christmas Fair provides an opportunity to be generous and creative with your Christmas Gift Giving.

Give Through Ministries of Mount of Olives Church

Donations and purchases support people in our community and around the world. 

These programs and ministries are supported by volunteers  and donations from Mount of Olives each Christmas and throughout the year.

 

  • Adopt an Angel

    We will be providing Christmas Gifts to families in crisis in Orange County, and who are served regularly by the Southwest Community Center in Santa Ana once again this year


    Two ways to give:


    1) Sign Up Now - for a family for which you'd like to purchase Christmas Gifts. (This is a great service project for a Small Group or family)


    2) Click here to donate financially to Adopt an Angel

    All donated money will be used to buy gifts for any families not 'adopted' and to purchase Grocery Gift Cards for each family to purchase food to cook a Christmas meal.

  • Missions Ministry

    Keetmanshoop Ministry Carepoint supports children in dire poverty with daily nutritious meals, health and safety education, Bible study and spiritual mentoring, homework help and tutoring, and provides a safe and loving place to gather after school. 

    There are many sponsorships available with different levels of commitment. For more info or to sign up click here.


    Namibia Education Fund provides financial assistance and Christian mentorship to about 20 teenagers and young adults. Our MOO Missions Ministry founded this nonprofit organization "Lives Fortified For Christ” which is directed by a social worker in Namibia who mentors each youth individually.   • Southwest Community Center

    Mount of Olives Church has supported Southwest Community Center in Santa Ana for over 30 years (Now part of Community Action Network).

Outside Organizations

The Mount of Olives Church's 'Alternative' Christmas Fair has supported outside organizations for decades like Heifer Project, Habitat for Humanity and Church World Services.

Heifer International - Gift livestock to people in need choose - ducks, rabbits, pigs, sheep or even a heifer!

Church World Service - Purchase a blanket to be used in disaster relief. Provide a health kit or a school kit to

children in the 3rd World. Help families carry clean water to their homes and provide health care to AIDS orphans.

Samaritan's Purse - Donate a hot meal, feed struggling refugees, support clean water projects, and more.

Free Wheelchair Mission - help provide people around the world with the transforming gift of mobility, plus the invaluable gifts of independence, dignity, and hope.

What to Expect This Christmas at Mount of Olives

We can't wait to celebrate the greatest gift of all: God becoming a man in Jesus, living a human life and dying on the cross for our sins so that whoever believes in His death and His Resurrection will have eternal life


We are excited to worship together  - attend a service on Christmas Eve with a traditional candle lighting and sing-along in all Christmas Eve services.
