Ministries & Programs

Are you looking for a place to connect with others? Would you like to learn more about the Christian faith or dig deeper into a study of The Bible? This is the place for you! We're glad you're here. Mount of Olives offers many classes, Bible studies and events designed to help you on your journey.

  • Amazing Bible Study

The Amazing Bible Study, originally just for Women, is expanded to include Men and Small Groups (as well as continuing the women's format) this fall online!

Zoom gatherings will be available to Women, Men, Couples, or even Small Groups.

How will it work? We will cover a book of the Bible each week, starting with Genesis. When we meet, we will listen to a lesson; then we’ll do homework in our study guides. The next week, we’ll discuss the homework in small groups before listening to another lesson. It’s a format that works if you’ve never read the Bible or if you’ve studied the Bible for decades.

The Amazing Bible Study is offered twice a week - you can choose one grouping to participate in: Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm and Wednesday mornings at 9:00am.

The online meetings last about 90 minutes. If you are interested in participating, please Register Online - so we can organize discussion groups and so you’ll have time to purchase your own study guides.

A team representing Mount of Olives Church runs with Team World Vision in the OC Half Marathon each year.

Team World Vision has created an easy couch-to-course training program that enables all people (no matter what shape they are in or what their age may be) to successfully complete the run. Plus, you're not alone! When training is done as a team, there is built-in accountability and everyone wins. Many of our team members are first-time runners and walkers.

The Couch-to-course training program begins now - this program was a perfect way to do something good for those in need in the name of the Lord and have accountability from your team members.

In 2020, Mount of Olives's team raised over $25,000 providing life-changing clean water for 508 children - Well done! Learn more about 2020's Impact.
