Men’s Ministries exist to encourage and support men of all ages and backgrounds. Programs are designed to enrich the lives of men at Mount of Olives and in our community through Bible study and creating Christian Community.

  • The Edge Men's Ministry

The Edge is a gathering of men once a week who meet to grow in relationship with Jesus -  to be better men, husbands and fathers, and to share life with other men in Christian Community.

The Edge meets weekly on Tuesdays 7:00-8:30pm.

You can join in-person in the New Creation Center on the Mount of Olives Church campus or via zoom (to get the zoom link please contact one of the men below).

Multi-week study series are selected by the group so that men can join in at any point during the study. Contact us to learn more!

On October 19th we begin a four part study drawn from a new book "Godfidence" written by our former member Jim Akers who will be leading us. The book and this study are intended to provide us with "A Reliable Confidence for Navigating an Unreliable World.

The 2021 Men's Retreat was different than a typical retreat format. Men gathered on the Mount of Olives Church campus on Friday evening and Saturday morning with meals included and programming led by featured guest speaker, David Dusek.

  • Amazing Bible Study

The Amazing Bible Study, originally just for Women, is expanded to include Men and Small Groups (as well as continuing the women's format) this fall online!

What is this study? It's based on "The Amazing Collection: The Bible, Book by Book." The goal is to develop a closer relationship with God as we study all of His Word. As we look at all 66 books of the Bible (written by more than 40 authors over a period of 1600 years), we discover that they have a common theme -- God's redeeming love.

How will it work? We cover a book of the Bible each week. At each meeting, we listen to a lesson; then we do homework in our study guides; then we come together to discuss in small groups what we have learned. It’s a format that works if you’ve never read the Bible or if you’ve studied the Bible for decades! So wherever you are along that continuum, we invite you to come and give it a try.

Since we'll be meeting via Zoom, feel free to invite friends and family members regardless of where they live. We already have one person in England, one in Washington state, and one in central California!

The Amazing Bible Study is offered twice a week - you can choose one grouping to participate in: Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm PT and Wednesday mornings at 9:00am PT. Each meeting lasts 1.5-2 hours.

The next session begins September 7 (or 8) and goes through November 16 (or 17) covering Isaiah through Acts. You can buy the study guides you'll need online on Amazon.

The next session will begin again January 11 (or 12), 2022 and go through April 12 (or 13).
