  • The Edge Men's Ministry

Following a summer break, The Edge will resume its programs on Tuesday, September 6th.

Edge is a gathering of men once a week who meet to grow in relationship with Jesus -  to be better men, husbands and fathers, and to share life with other men in Christian Community.

The Edge meets weekly on Tuesdays 7:00-8:30pm in the New Creation Center (building nearest the rear parking lot).

Multi-week study series are selected by the group leaders, and allow so that men can join in at any point during the study. Most studies include a video and breakout sessions led by men on the leadership team.

During September, our studies will prepare our hearts for the Men's Retreat scheduled September 23 & 24. On September 13, we'll show the movie, "Show Me the Father" produced by the Christian company led by the Kendrick brothers.

Starting in October, our men will open each meeting by gathering together, then will break into two groups with two different study options.

    • "Learn the Bible in 24 Hours" - a video series with discussion led by John Linder. This video study, featuring Chuck Missler, has the answer for those who may have struggled in the past to follow a Bible study. This study is an ideal aid to help you grasp the big picture of Scripture. Beginning in October, we'll conclude the study of the Old Testament that began earlier in the year and then begin on the New Testament.
    • "Prophets and Kings" - a video series with discussion led by Tim Cronmiller. It was filmed on location in Israel and brings God's Word to life. In these videos, Ray Vender Laan weaves together the Bible's fascinating historical, cultural, religious and geographical context and highlights how they have significance for modern believers. In November, this study will be followed by the Andy Stanley series, "Who Needs Christmas."

To the men of Mount of Olives Church, Edge means to Encourage Devotion to God Everyday.
