The Edge meets weekly on Tuesdays 7:00-8:30pm in the New Creation Center (building nearest the rear parking lot).

The Edge is a gathering of men of all ages meeting with two purposes: to grow in relationship with Jesus and to support one another through life's challenges. 

Weekly studies vary but typically consist of a video-driven program that leads to discussion groups. The common theme of all programs is centered on us growing closer to God.

From October 22 - November 19, we'll study "The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry" by John Mark Comer. 

This is a five-week study based on the book with that title where we look at the damage that “hurry” is causing in our life. Hurry threatens all our relationships, especially the ones we consider most dear to us: our family and our relationship with

God.

We will look at the changes in our lives as we’ve struggled to keep up with the relentless bombardment of technological advances that have overloaded many of our lives. And we will even find ourselves asking the question: “Is it time to consider making

Significant changes in order to rescue our Souls?” Will we accept Jesus’ Invitation in Matthew 11:28-30

“ Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” 

Past Programs:

• March 26-April 30 - "In the Footsteps of the Savior," a video series by Max Lucado to help us better understand Jesus Himself. 
• John Linder (Ministry Leader) with his latest multi-week series helping us understand and apply the Bible to our life challenges
• Dallas Willard's six week video series on "Hearing God: Developing a Conversational Relationship with God"
• May 21, 28 & June 4 - Pastor John Steward lead a special 3-week series on "Baptism" - Some say it is only for adults as an act of obedience, others say full water emersion is essential, while others believe in baptizing infants and children. Pastor Steward will teach from the scripture on the meaning of baptism.

The annual Men's Retreat/Men's Conference is a gathering held over a single weekend each year. The event features a key speaker chosen based on our studies during the year and recommendations - to lead a study to help men grow stronger in faith and grow in Christian Community. 

We hosted Men's Retreat 2024 in October at Mount of Olives Church. We had a wonderful weekend with our special guest speaker, Dr. Mike Middendorf. Thank you to all who joined us!
