The Edge meets weekly on Tuesdays 7:00-8:30pm in the New Creation Center (building nearest the rear parking lot).

The Edge is a gathering of men of all ages meeting with two purposes: to grow in relationship with Jesus and to support one another through life's challenges. 

Weekly studies vary but typically consist of a video-driven program that leads to discussion groups. The common theme of all programs is centered on us growing closer to God.

Breaks in December, July & August each year.

Upcoming Studies:

January 7th-February 11^th- Kallas Lecture Series: Paul’s Second Missionary Journey

• This year we'll study how after Paul's Missionary Journey to Crete and Turkey, he planned to head East from Central Turkey, but God (in a dream) redirects him to go to Troas (Troy) and then from there, head to Macedonia, and on from there, Westward and then South, ending this journey in Corinth.  This journey continues a pattern of Paul’s efforts being hounded by the Judaizers who argued that to be a Christian you must first adhere to the Jewish law. February 18th- March 25^th - "Surprised by Hope" by N.T Wright

• In this study based on the book with the same title, we will look at N.T Wright’s study into rethinking Heaven, the Resurrection, and the mission of the Church.  It challenges common Christian assumptions about the afterlife, the resurrection, and the mission of the church.  We’ll look at the case to rethink what our ultimate destiny is: “Is it life after death, or life after life after death?” (Leaders Stuart Dimock and Tom Wallace)

April 1^st- June 3^rd - "Death and Resurrection of the Messiah" by Ray Vander Laan

• This is our fourth installment in the “That the World May Know” series that we have been led in by our faithful brother Tim Cronmiller. This study will help us learn how confronting evil can be loudly proclaiming the name of Jesus or quietly caring for someone in need. Individual sessions begin with “When Storms Come” and end with “Power to the People” and “Total Commitment”.  We are looking for one or two men to lead us in this series.

• "In the Footsteps of the Savior," a video series by Max Lucado to help us better understand Jesus Himself. 
•  "Hearing God: Developing a Conversational Relationship with God"
• Pastor John Steward lead a special 3-week series on "Baptism" - Some say it is only for adults as an act of obedience, others say full water emersion is essential, while others believe in baptizing infants and children. Pastor Steward will teach from the scripture on the meaning of baptism.

Men are welcome to drop in to attend any Edge Bible study or event anytime.
