Men’s Ministries at Mount of Olives Church exist to encourage and support men at all stages of life with weekly studies and special events. Programs are designed to help men grow in their relationship with Jesus - to be better men, husbands, fathers, and to share life with other men in Christian Community.

Edge Men's Bible Study
The Edge meets weekly on Tuesdays 7:00-8:30pm in the New Creation Center (building nearest the rear parking lot).
Breaks: The Edge does not meet in July and August for Summer Break or in December for a Christmas Break.
The Edge is a gathering of men of all ages meeting with two purposes: to grow in relationship with Jesus and to support one another through life's challenges.
Weekly studies vary but typically consist of a video-driven program that leads to discussion groups. The common theme of all programs is centered on us growing closer to God.
Upcoming Studies:
- Begins meeting September 8, 2026, following Summer Break
- September 15, 2026 - A 5-week study begins on the "10 Commandments"
- Later in Fall 2026, we'll begin a study of what happened as the Disciples and those in the Early Church expanded to far corners of the earth

- Dr. James Kallas Lecture Series looking at the Book of Romans
- "What Happens Next?" by Max Lucado
- "Death and Resurrection of the Messiah: Bringing God's Shalom to a World in Crisis"
- "The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry" a video series by John Mark Comer
- Pastor John Steward lead a special 3-week series on "Baptism"
Men are welcome to drop in to attend any Edge Bible study or event anytime.

Saturday Morning Men's Bible Study
Saturdays from 7:00-8:30am at Paul's Pantry on Crown Valley Pkwy.
Each Saturday morning a group of men enjoy breakfast and do a Bible study using one of the “LifeGuide Bible Studies” and our Bible.

Men's Christmas Dinner
Annual Christmas Dinner planned early-December, date: TBA
Social begins at 5:30pm, Dinner at 6:30pm
All are invited to this potluck Christmas dinner hosted by Men's Ministry celebrating the year that passed and looking ahead to the new year.
All are invited to this old-fashioned potluck dinner! Men's Ministry is providing the main course, and attendees are asked to bring a side or dessert to share.

Men's Summer BBQ
Each Summer, we typically gather for a Men's BBQ on the Mount of Olives Church Courtyard to meet other men and have fun!
Men are encouraged to bring a friend to this casual event with an array of burgers, hot dogs and drinks, including beer, provided (if you'd like a specific beverage, please bring it - no glass containers, please).
Please bring a side or dessert to share, if you're able.
In July 2026, we hosted 85 men at our July BBQ where we enjoyed burgers, hot dogs and ice cream. It was great to connect and meet other men, fellowship together and get to know one another better!
